[Party] Space... The Final Frontier

This weekend we celebrated Smarty Pant's 6th Birthday with a SPACE Party! The party was held at the boys' favorite gymnastics center-- one full hour of climbing, jumping and bouncing children.  Yep, all the parents were high-fiving each other and I think I saw a couple of fist pumps-- Yes!  :) The birthday boy had a BLAST and I think all of the kids were thoroughly entertained during the party and thoroughly exhausted by the end of the party.  All good!

A big THANKS to my friends for helping put up decorations, set-up food, wrangle kids, serve food and clean up!  This party would not have gotten off the ground without their help!  After looking at so many "perfect" looking parties on various blogs, it's easy to forget how much work goes into a homegrown, imperfect and real party.  Phew!  I'm exhausted, but the happy smiles are worth the effort!

So I'm all partied out right now... but I'm sure I'll be up and running again for Happy Vee's special day in July!
